In recent years, ICON-S association has become one of the most important associations worldwide in the field of public law in the broadest sense of the term (including EU law, international law, constitutional law, administrative law, legal theory, etc.). In addition to the global structure, ICON-S supports the creation of regional or national associations (ICON-S National Chapters).

The ICON-S Benelux Chapter has been established and is growing fast (https://www.icon-society.org/benelux/).

The newly founded ICON-S Benelux Chapter will organize its Inaugural Conference on 26-27 October 2023. The conference will take place in Maastricht (NL), hosted by Maastricht University – Faculty of Law, with a fully in-person program of panels and keynote sessions. The overarching theme of the conference is Crises, Challenges, and the Future of Public Law.
